What happens when a new breed rises up to destroy you and those you love?
The threat of the lives of the Cullens is gone. Things are peaceful between them and the wolves, and they frequently hang out with each other. They celebrate birthdays and holidays together. Unfortunatly Sam and Jacob still declare themselves Alphas, so things are still a little tense within the group. Luckily though, neither pack minds each other and usually work well together.
The pack to the north, the Makah pack has made a name for themselves as well, and have worked out a pact with the Quilette tribe, declaring themselves allies. The pack continues to grow, though there are three branches.
But a new threat rises in the east, in Russia. The Children of the Moon have heard rumors about these shifters, these humans who can take on the shape of a wolf at any time. That they can mock the real werewolves with a slap in the face. As dangerous as the shifters think they are, they have no clue what the Children of the Moon are like. They are ruthless, murderous, and coniving. They are five times as strong as a Vampire. One by itself almost killed Caius hundreds of years ago. They are stronger, faster, deadlier. They have never been able to live together, as they are to deadly, and will kill each other.
A man named Rasputin has risen up to lead the Children of the Moon against the shifters, to take them down and show them what a real wolf is along the way.
The pack has turned to the Makahs and the Cullens for help against the Russians that threaten to destroy them. How will this battle end? What will become of both breeds of wolves when a Nouvelle Menace approaches....
