hey there everyone !
Okay so I figured I write this little announcement to say hello to all of our new members and thank you for joining. We will have monthly newsletters that come out on the first, this is not a newsletter. The newsletters will be cooler. A couple things come with the newsletters. I'll list them now.
-- Members of the month will be announced.
-- Extra awards will be given to those who have the most karma points and the most posts.
-- I will write a fairly lengthy newsletter about how awesome we are and what Ree and myself have planned for the next month on the site.
Okay so there's your list. This means it would be smart to post your ass off and try to be nice so people give you karma points. I am giving points to people who take canon characters and randomly every day I will give someone 5 karma points. just to make things a bit more fair. I know most sites don't do anything with karma points so i decided we are going to. =]
Also I wanted to list the different job positions available within the asylum. If you choose to be an asylum staff member here are the jobs available to you.
-- Counselor - for starters, counselors ARE NOT therapists. They are in charge of being hands on with the patients. They wake them up, the escort them to different areas of the building. They monitor everything the patients do. They also monitor the hallways on the dorm floors and host the group therapy sessions.
-- Orderly - Orderlies work in the specialty rooms in the basement. These are your padded rooms, isolation chambers, and rooms where patients are tied to the beds. These rooms are for the unruly patients. The ones who refuse to cooperate. Orderlies are in charge of these patients.
-- Kitchen Staff - These are the people who prepare the food for the patients and staff members. They work in the dining hall.
-- Janitorial Staff - The janitors. They clean the place up.
-- Therapist - The shrinks. the ones who make the patients talk about their feelings and analyze their thoughts.
-- Doctor - They are there to make sure the patients are physically healthy. They are in charge of saying when a patient is ready for discharge.
Just thought I'd explain that for you guys. If you are a citizen you can have any other occupation you'd like.
I think that covers everything I had to say. Thanks for listening. <3
