Okay guys, this is our first newsletter. Yay! Basically I write newsletters as a way of letting you guys know what is going on with the site. First of all I would like to let you guys know that my fellow admin, Marie has not been around because she's been sick. No worries though, I'm an incredibly awesome admin and can manage a site all by my lonesome =] But hopefully she will return soon. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined this month. You guys are amazing and have made this site so awesome. We have some amazing characters on here and I love it.

I have posted an activity check. It will be open from November 25th to December 5th. That is more than enough time for everyone to get their post in. Even if you are a new member, YOU MUST POST IN THE ACTIVITY CHECK!!!!!!! If you do not post in the activity check, your characters will be deleted. I despise inactiveness. Especially when people do not tell me why they are being inactive. And already we have a couple inactive members who are at the risk for being deleted. So please, I can't stress enough how serious I am about activity checks.

I'd also like to remind you guys that TBP isn't just an asylum site. There is a whole world outside of the asylum. You could be anyone. So when joining or even making another character, consider being a citizen. Citizens can do anything they want, they have no boundaries.

Also I wanted to remind everyone that this site is rated R. That means everything goes. But please respect that some people are not comfortable with roleplaying certain scenes. For example, I don't roleplay graphic sex scenes. I keep my threads PG-13. When it comes time to do the naughty stuff I fade out and come back after the action. lol. Anyways my point is, please be respectful of others if they are not comfortable with roleplaying a certain scene.

Lastly, I am starting an advertising contest. It's one of my favorite ways to make sites more popular. Here is how this contest will work. Whichever member of the site advertises the most during the month of December will win the Character of the Month award for January. This being said, for your efforts to count, you must PM me the links to all the sites you advertise on. I will keep tally and then whoever has done the most will win. So if your interested, start advertising. =]
