"Quisnam igitur sanus? Qui non stultus."
The Hadley Institute for Troubled Teens. It was started by Dr. Ezekiel Hadley to house and help adolescents who were afflicted with psychological problems. From the simple phobias to the downright dangerous mood disorders, the Hadley Institute had them all. Thousands of cases from all across the country were sent to the institute in hopes of a cure.
But a cure was not so easily obtained. Though for many years the institute was held in high regard for its psychiatric care and fine education system, there was a dark secret behind it. The staff of the institute had been abusing the patients for years - and when this was uncovered, the institute was shut down and the Hadley name was smeared.
However, Ezekiel Hadley II - son of the original owner - reopened the institute and revolutionized the way it was run. His methods helped to clear, for the most part, the Hadley name - and when he retired he passed on his position to his son. Along with passing on his position, he passed on all the pressures and problems that went along with it.
Now, in the modern day, the Hadley Institute is under new management. Will the decisions of Ezekiel Hadley III help the treatments of the psychologically troubled youths that come through the insitute's doors, or will it only hinder them? And what gives anyone the right to say that someone is "troubled"... when they might be just as deranged?
"O major tandem parcas, insane, minori."
