MIDDLE OF CHAOS
Sephiroth has been defeated for a second time after his resurrection at the hands of The Silver Haired men. Gaia has been saved from his plans again, Cloud and the gang have gone back to their lives, and peace has been given another chance.
Another chance that lasted six months.
Unbeknownst to the Shin-Ra higher-ups, many of their employees have been doing their own work within the company, hiring scientists, and mercenaries to get them back to the way they once were. While under investigation by the few Turks that are suspicious of them, they have remained in control, and secretive, once again experimenting on humans to make the perfect weapons.
Project Z, a (failed) attempt to make successful Sephiroth clones, had these Shin-Ra scientists gathering samples from the Northern Crater, but with dire consequences. They stumbled upon a single black feather, and investigating further, the body of the former general was uncovered from the rocks. Troubled, and curious, the scientists took him back to the Shin-Ra headquarters, where he was stored away, hooked up to countless machines and monitored.
Against all odds, and despite the damage that was done to his body, he reawakened.
In his despair and stress, he murdered the scientists and the guards surrounding him with his bare hands and escaped the facility, taking back his masamune sword in the process. He left for Kalm, haunted by visions of a human mother he never knew. His body is now injured and degrading, aided only by the remnants of his former self.
Alert of the now wandering, and insane, resurrected Sephiroth, Cloud has gathered up the gang once more. But it seems a worse problem for them lies with Shin-Ra, their ongoing projects and the disappearances of the civilians that they perform their experiments upon. Will Cloud be able to prevail again or will he finally lose the battle for Gaia?
